Downtown Gunnison continues to evolve with exciting new businesses and community investments. Lupine Gallery has opened a beautiful new art gallery in the former Tango space, adding another creative destination to Main Street. The ICE Lab expanded its impact for entrepreneurs with the opening of The Hub. Dragon Asana has introduced a new yoga studio enhancing local wellness offerings. And the Hartman Castle Preservation project is moving forward with purchasing the historic property later this year, paving the way for its restoration as a lasting community landmark.
The Gunnison real estate market remains healthy and balanced as inventory continues to improve, providing buyers with more opportunities while values remain resilient. Year-to-date, 20 single-family homes have sold within the City of Gunnison at an average sales price of approximately $580,000, while rural Gunnison homes are averaging nearly $880,000. Condominium sales continue to provide an attractive entry point into the market with average prices around $340,000, and eleven lands sales transacted to date averaging over $330,000.
